2. Grundsätze
Momly wurde mit dem Prinzip Privacy by Design entwickelt. Alle Baby- und Nutzungsdaten werden standardmäßig lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Optional können sie über Apples iCloud-Dienst (CloudKit) zwischen deinen eigenen Apple-Geräten synchronisiert werden. Wir selbst betreiben keine Server, auf denen deine Baby- oder Nutzungsdaten gespeichert werden.
3. Welche Daten werden verarbeitet?
3.1 Daten, die du in der App eingibst
- Name, Geburtsdatum und Geschlecht deines Babys
- Maße: Gewicht, Größe, Kopfumfang
- Optional: Profilfoto deines Babys
- Getrackte Aktivitäten: Mahlzeiten, Schlaf, Windeln, Pumpen, Medikamente, Bad
- Meilensteine, Beikost-Einträge, Notizen, Stimmung
- Dein Name (Eltern) und Beziehung (Mama, Papa, andere)
Speicherort: Diese Daten werden ausschließlich lokal auf deinem iPhone/iPad gespeichert (in einer verschlüsselten JSON-Datei innerhalb des App-Sandboxes). Wenn du iCloud-Sync aktivierst, werden sie zusätzlich in deinem privaten iCloud-Container gespeichert, der ausschließlich deiner Apple ID zugeordnet ist.
3.2 Daten, die automatisch von Apple verarbeitet werden
- StoreKit (In-App-Käufe): Apple erfasst beim Kauf eines Abonnements deine Apple ID, Rechnungsadresse und Zahlungsinformationen. Momly erhält nur eine anonyme Transaktions-ID.
- Push-Benachrichtigungen (optional): Wenn du Benachrichtigungen erlaubst, erhält die App einen Device-Token. Dieser wird ausschließlich lokal zur Zeitplanung verwendet und nicht an einen externen Server gesendet.
3.3 Daten, die NICHT erfasst werden
- Keine Analyse-Daten an Dritte (kein Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel etc.)
- Keine Werbe-IDs, kein Tracking
- Keine Standortdaten
- Keine Kontakte, Fotomediathek (außer das vom Nutzer explizit gewählte Profilfoto)
4. Rechtsgrundlage (DSGVO Art. 6)
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung) — für die Kernfunktionen der App, die du durch Nutzung in Anspruch nimmst.
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (Einwilligung) — für optionale Funktionen wie iCloud-Sync, Push-Benachrichtigungen und Foto-Upload.
5. Daten deines Babys / Kinderdaten
Momly verarbeitet Daten über dein Baby, die du als Elternteil bzw. Erziehungsberechtigter freiwillig eingibst. Die Verarbeitung erfolgt auf Grundlage deines elterlichen Sorgerechts (Art. 8 DSGVO). Die Daten verlassen dein Gerät nicht (außer optional in deinen eigenen iCloud-Account).
6. Weitergabe an Dritte
Wir geben deine Daten nicht an Dritte weiter. Apple ist als Infrastrukturanbieter (iCloud, StoreKit, Push) an der technischen Abwicklung beteiligt; die Datenverarbeitung erfolgt gemäß Apples eigenen Datenschutzrichtlinien (apple.com/de/legal/privacy).
7. Speicherdauer
Deine Daten werden so lange gespeichert, wie die App installiert ist. Beim Deinstallieren der App werden alle lokalen Daten automatisch durch iOS gelöscht. iCloud-Daten kannst du jederzeit in den iCloud-Einstellungen deines Apple-Geräts entfernen oder über die In-App-Funktion „Alle Daten löschen" (Profil → Daten) irreversibel löschen.
8. Deine Rechte (DSGVO)
Du hast jederzeit das Recht auf:
- Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO): Da alle Daten lokal gespeichert sind, hast du jederzeit vollen Einblick in der App.
- Berichtigung (Art. 16 DSGVO): Alle Einträge sind direkt in der App bearbeitbar.
- Löschung (Art. 17 DSGVO): Über Profil → Alle Daten löschen oder durch Deinstallation der App.
- Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20 DSGVO): Du kannst deine Daten als PDF/CSV über Profil → Daten-Export herunterladen.
- Widerruf (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO): Du kannst iCloud-Sync und Push-Benachrichtigungen jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen deaktivieren.
- Beschwerderecht (Art. 77 DSGVO): Du hast das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren.
9. Änderungen dieser Richtlinie
Wir behalten uns vor, diese Datenschutzerklärung zu aktualisieren, um sie an geänderte Funktionen oder rechtliche Anforderungen anzupassen. Die jeweils aktuelle Version findest du unter momly-app.com/privacy.

2. Principles
Momly is built with Privacy by Design. All baby and usage data is stored locally on your device by default. Optionally, it can be synced across your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service (CloudKit). We do not operate any servers that store your baby or usage data.
3. What Data Is Processed?
3.1 Data You Enter in the App
- Your baby's name, birth date, and sex
- Measurements: weight, height, head circumference
- Optional: your baby's profile photo
- Tracked activities: feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, medications, baths
- Milestones, solid-food entries, notes, mood
- Your name (parent) and relationship (mom, dad, other)
Storage location: This data is stored exclusively locally on your iPhone/iPad (in an encrypted JSON file inside the app sandbox). If you enable iCloud sync, it is additionally stored in your private iCloud container tied exclusively to your Apple ID.
3.2 Data Processed Automatically by Apple
- StoreKit (in-app purchases): When you buy a subscription, Apple processes your Apple ID, billing address, and payment info. Momly only receives an anonymous transaction ID.
- Push notifications (optional): If you allow notifications, the app receives a device token. It is used only locally for scheduling and is not sent to any external server.
3.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- No analytics data to third parties (no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
- No advertising IDs, no tracking
- No location data
- No contacts, no photo library (except the profile photo you explicitly choose)
4. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract) — for the core features of the app you use.
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) — for optional features like iCloud sync, push notifications, and photo upload.
5. Your Baby's Data / Children's Data
Momly processes data about your baby that you, as a parent or legal guardian, voluntarily enter. Processing is based on your parental rights (Art. 8 GDPR). The data never leaves your device (except optionally into your own iCloud account).
6. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not share your data with third parties. Apple is involved as an infrastructure provider (iCloud, StoreKit, push); their data processing follows Apple's own privacy policies (apple.com/legal/privacy).
7. Storage Duration
Your data is stored as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, all local data is automatically deleted by iOS. iCloud data can be removed anytime through your device's iCloud settings, or irreversibly deleted through the in-app "Delete all data" function (Profile → Data).
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the following rights at any time:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): Since all data is stored locally, you have full access within the app.
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): All entries are directly editable in the app.
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): Via Profile → Delete all data or by uninstalling the app.
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You can download your data as PDF/CSV via Profile → Data export.
- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): You can disable iCloud sync and push notifications anytime in iOS Settings.
- Right to complain (Art. 77 GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. The current version is always available at momly-app.com/privacy.
